It is with great sadness that the family of the late RAYMOND FOOTE of Collins Cove announces his passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence on Thursday, September 7th, at the age of 87. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughters, Tracy Foote (Terry Walters) of Boat Harbour, Barbara Dimmer (Baxter Smith) of Boat Harbour, Maxine Wiscombe of Collins Cove; son-in-law, Ron Flannigan of Burin Bay; sister, Donna (Bruce) Smith of Hantsport, NS; brothers, Major Bram Foote of St. John’s, Garland (Ann) Foote of Courtice, ON, Malrey (Betty) Foote of St. John’s, Alvin (Yvonne) Foote of Marystown; 8 grandchildren, Wyatt, Jacob, Jordan, Tammy, Roger, Declan, Nicole (Brian) & Rhonda (Troy); plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by wife, Nora Foote; parents, Samuel & Lilly Foote; stepmother, Rosie Foote; baby boy Stanley; daughter, Kathleen Flannigan; brothers Glen Foote & Les Isaacs. The Funeral Service took place at Faith & Hope Salvation Army Corps in Creston South on Sunday, September 10th, at 2:30 p.m. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Salmonier. In lieu of flowers donations in Raymond’s memory may be made to The Foote Family.
